Jesus ascended into heaven and left His disciples standing on the mountainside looking into the sky, Acts 1:9-11. Have you ever wondered why the angel asked the disciples why they were standing there looking at the sky? It was a "Get to Work" nudge. Jesus started the work of the Kingdom of God on earth. He has commissioned us to continue the work of making disciples until Christ Himself comes back to get His people. We invite you to "get to work" with us at First Baptist Church.
